License Agreement

Grant of License

Permission is hereby granted to any person or organization purchasing Checky to:

• Install and use a single instance of the software
• Modify the source code for internal use
• Create derivative works for internal use only
• Use the software for the number of users specified in the purchased license tier

License Tiers

Restrictions

This license does NOT include the rights to:

• Publish, distribute, or sublicense the software
• Sell copies of the software or source code
• Use the software as a service for third parties
• Remove or obscure any proprietary notices
• Use the Checky name or branding for derivative products

Source Code Usage

The source code is provided to enable:

• Customization for your specific needs
• Integration with your existing systems
• Bug fixes and security patches
• Learning and understanding the system

Any modifications remain your property but cannot be redistributed as a competing product.

Updates and Maintenance

• Free updates through version 1.x are included
• Major version updates (2.0, 3.0, etc.) may require additional purchase
• Security patches will be provided for the current major version
• You may continue using any version indefinitely

Transfer of License

This license may be transferred to another organization upon:

• Written notification to Checky Teams
• Complete transfer of the software and destruction of all copies by the original licensee
• Acceptance of license terms by the new licensee

Warranty Disclaimer

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

Compliance

The user of the software represents and warrants that they will at all times comply with applicable law in their download and use of the Software.

Termination

This license is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any term of this license. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the software.
